New York City Apartment
This was originally going to be a cosmetic makeover, but because of the poor state of the apartment, it turned into a total gut-remodel. It needed new everything including floor, ceiling, walls, electric, bathroom, kitchen, trim, doors, paint, etc. Details included a redesigned floor plan, a custom kitchen, hand made cabinetry, recessed niches for more storage in the bathroom, a custom-colored hardwood floor, detailed trim and crown moulding, and eight foot tall doors throughout. I lived in this apartment for many months after the initial demolition and reconstruction, attending to all details of painting, tiling, trim work, cabinetry, kitchen and bathroom installation, and cleanup.
