Oceanside Fence and Deck
As you can see in the first few images, this fence was old and being overtaken by ivy, poison oak, and arundo grass. Also, around the large tent structure, the fence was rotten and the earth eroding down the hill. The first step was to clear all the vegetation to reveal the canvas, then to repair the fence where needed, and add on the deck structure.
The deck has considerable concrete footings to support the load of many persons if need be, and the framing is all pressure treated wood with a composite decking. The railings are cut to match the fence.
Also included in the work is a new electrical panel cabinet to replace an old rotting one, and a ground level walkway and steps to access more view area.
This was a fun project in a beautiful location!
